A For Sale By Inventor company · The Un-Invention Company

For issued patents only

Your patent, in front of the people who buy.

We attend the trade shows and industry events where retailers, manufacturers and licensees show up, and we reach out to companies directly on behalf of your patented product.

How it works

1

Send us your issued patent.

We confirm the patent is issued and look at what the product is and who would buy it.

2

We pick the shows and companies.

The right buyers are at specific shows. We choose the ones that fit your product and target the companies in your category.

3

We attend and make the introduction.

We walk the floor, meet the companies, and reach out directly on your behalf.

Why not just go yourself?

Some inventors try. Here is what they run into.

148,392

The floor is huge.

CES 2026 had 148,392 participants and more than 4,100 exhibitors. SEMA 2025 had more than 160,000 attendees. Finding the one buyer who wants your product, with no introduction, is the hard part.

Trade-only

Many shows are closed to you.

The PGA Show and SEMA Show are trade-only. SHOT Show exhibitors must be in the industry and approved by show management. Global Pet Expo exhibitors must be APPA or PIDA members. A lone inventor often can't get in, let alone exhibit.

$6,295

The booth costs more than our fee.

At SHOT Show's published rates, a 10 by 10 booth plus the New Exhibitor Package is $6,295. At Global Pet Expo it is $3,200 to $3,400. That is floor space only, before travel, hotel, shipping and build-out. Our fee is $1,499 per product, + 15% of the net proceeds to the inventor, only on a deal with a company we introduced.

Find your show

Every product has its own buyers, and every buyer has their own show. Find your product type below. That is the show we take your patent to. Dates are set by each show's organizer.

What you get when we attend

You are not buying a booth. You are buying our time, our contacts and our follow-through.

1

Representation

We attend the show as your representative, in person, with your product materials.

2

Pre-selected companies and introductions

We choose the companies that fit your product and introduce you before and at the show.

3

A breakdown of the feedback

A written report of what each company said, and which company said it.

4

Licensing negotiation

If a company is interested, we negotiate the terms on your behalf.

5

Real exposure at a fraction of the cost

At the shows that publish booth prices, the booth alone runs $3,200 to $6,295 before travel. Your fee is $1,499 per product, + 15% of the net proceeds to the inventor.

What we do at the show

We are there for you, in the room, with the buyers.

1

We host a dinner

We invite the companies we selected and host them for dinner, with your product as the reason for the table.

2

We present your product

We present it to them ourselves, with your product materials and your patent in hand.

3

Direct conversations

We talk with the buyers face to face, answer their questions and ask what they would need to say yes.

What we need from you

After you pay, you send us these within 7 days.

We can't promise a deal. Companies decide for themselves, and many will say no. What we do is get your product in front of them.

Launch Invention is new. Here is how we will report.

After every show we post the number of inventors we represented, the companies we met and the deals signed. If a number is zero, we say zero.

Common questions

Do you guarantee a deal?

No. Companies decide for themselves, and many will say no. No one can honestly promise a deal, a license or a sale. What we guarantee is our part of the work: if we don't attend your show, or you don't get your written report within 14 days after the show, we refund your fee.

What if the companies say no?

That happens, and you still get the written breakdown of what each company said and which company said it. A clear no, with the reason, tells you what to change and where to go next. The 15% of net proceeds only applies if a deal closes with a company we introduced.

Do I need an issued patent?

Yes. Launch Invention is for issued patents only. We don't accept pending or provisional applications or Public Concept Records. We confirm your patent is issued before we take it to a show.

What are net proceeds?

In plain terms, the money you actually receive from a deal with a company we introduced. The exact definition, which companies count as introduced and how long it applies are set out in the written agreement you receive and sign before we start.

Why does the fee go up closer to the show?

Introductions take lead time. The earlier you sign, the more companies we can research and reach before the show. Closer to the show there is less time to do that work, and under 30 days we can't do it properly, so we book you into the next show instead. The 15% of net proceeds is the same at every tier.

Why not just go myself?

You can, and some inventors do. Many of these shows are trade-only or need approval to exhibit, and at the shows that publish rates a 100 square foot booth runs $3,200 to $6,295 before travel, hotel and shipping. Our fee is $1,499 per product, + 15% of the net proceeds to the inventor, only on a deal with a company we introduced.

What do I need to send you?

Within 7 days after you pay: your issued patent (number, PDF, and proof of ownership or an assignment), photos or video, a one-page summary of the product, anything already in motion such as sales, offers or companies you've approached, and your signed agreement.

What happens right after I pay?

You get an email with your receipt and next steps, and we send the written agreement for you to sign. You send us your materials within 7 days. Before the show we choose the companies and you see the list.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, under our guarantee: if we don't attend your show, or you don't get your written report within 14 days after the show, we refund your fee. Refunds are not tied to whether a company says yes, because no one can promise that.

Not sure which show fits?

Tell us about your product. We will tell you which show fits, or tell you honestly if none do.
